This site is operated by HCT Books ("we," "us"). This policy applies to visitors to any HCT Books page and to customers who purchase a book.

What we collect

• Purchase information: when you buy a book, our payment processor, Lemon Squeezy, collects your email address and payment details in order to process the transaction and deliver your download. We never see or store your full card details — Lemon Squeezy handles that as the merchant of record.
• Contact information: if you email us for support (e.g. a refund request), we see whatever you send us — typically your email address and order details.
• Basic site usage data: our hosting provider may log standard technical data (like IP address and browser type) for security and performance purposes, as most websites do.

How we use it

• To deliver your purchased book and send you a receipt
• To respond to support or refund requests
• To meet our own legal/tax obligations where required

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

Two categories of third party ever see your information, and only as much as each needs to do its job:

• Lemon Squeezy — our payment processor and merchant of record. They handle checkout, tax collection, and payment security. See their own privacy policy for details on how they handle payment data.
• Our hosting provider — serves this website; it does not receive your purchase or payment information.

How long we keep it

We keep order and support records for as long as needed to handle refund windows, respond to disputes, and meet basic tax/accounting requirements — typically no longer than a few years.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how it's used. To exercise any of these, just email us — see below.
